South Africa is located in the very south of the continent. Its famous by the multiculturalism: for example, the country’s constitution spells out 11 official languages. Gambling was banned here from the middle of the 20th century; only horse betting was allowed. In 1996, came out a gambling law that defines the work of offline casinos and bookmakers.
Now the industry in the country is actively developing, in 2018/2019 bringing GGR R30 billion and giving jobs to more than 30 000 employees. The industry is subject to ten regulators, chief among them is the National Gambling Board.
